long time ago, I am hoping that these descriptions and pictures could

with a set of highly prized pipe jaws for gripping large pipes
securely. So you would not need to buy a second, pipe vise. This
vise is in great condition and has been used lightly. I made

Quincy DUPLEX DUAL HEAD 15 HP Air Compressor 240 Gallon

For sale is a Quincy Duplex Compressor. It has two pumps model
SLT-15. Each of these pumps is powered by a 7.5 HP Baldor three
phase motor. However, according to Quincy, the pumps are capable of
 being driven twice
faster by 15 HP motors. Presently, this compressor has a
approximately 50 CFM capability, but if you upgraded the motors and
motor controls, you could theoretically get approximately 100 CFM capability.

The pumps are general purpose pumps. The tank is 240 gallons. This
 compressor is huge! Pump: SLT-15, S/N G20238 Compressor: QC07524DX3,
 S/N 5019882, 240 gallon tank

The compressor was owned by Central DuPage Hospital. Then they
upgraded it to something and donated it to Illinois Railroad museum.
It stood there for a year and they decided that it was too big for them,
at which point I bought it from them.

I checked this compressor out a little. The controls on it and the
motors were wired for 460 volts. Since I only have 220 volts three phase
at my house (from a phase converter), I had to disconnect the motors and rewire the
motor connections for 230 volts three phase. I labeled the
disconnected incoming wires 1, 2, 3 so that you
can connect them back to the control box to get the right rotation.
Both pumps run and pump air. The tank holds air.

I also cleaned up the minor rust spots
